Caroline lost 12.7kg (2st) with a low carb approach
When Caroline Walker was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2011, she asked her doctor if she could manage her blood sugars through diet alone, as she had previously heard about the low carb approach. Although hesitant, her doctor supported her decision and has been surprised at her results. Within a few months her HbA1c had reduced to normal levels and she had also lost 12.7kg (2st). Seven years later, Caroline now uses her own experience to support other people with type 2 diabetes to adopt a low carb lifestyle.
